ECONOMY
North Korea's economiv growth compard
to South Korea's.
North Korea has a very poor economy because the government spends most of its time focusing on military weaponry like nuclear weapons (bombs). North Korea's Sungun or "Military First" Policy grants the North Korean military a special place in government. Because North Korea mainly focuses on military weapons there have been many food shortages. This is due to the lack of arable land, poor soil, and tractor failure. For years North Korean citizens have been relying on food aid from other countries to survive. Even with this aid citizens still struggle with finances and poor living conditions. Through all this political control still seems to be North Korea's main focus.
North Korea has a small per capita income of $1,800. North Korea also has a high labor force of 12.2 million workers and 35% work in agriculture while the other 65% works in industry services. Some of North Korea's Agriculture products include rice, corn, potatoes, soybeans, pulses, cattle, pigs, pork, and eggs. Industrially North Korea is not growing, in fact percentages are going down.

Government
The North Korean Government can be describes as Juche which means self reliant one. North Korea is a perfect example of the "rule of man" considering all loyalty goes to Kim Jung-un. Democratic People's Republic of Korea is
an Authoritarian Socialist, or a one-man dictatorship. Government decisions are based on past Japanese traditions and Communist Legal Theory's. The Chief of State since 2011 has been Kim Jung. The head of state which includes Premier, Choe Yong Rim, and Vice Premiers, including those like Hang Kwang Bok and Jo Pyong Ju. The Cabinet or Naegak, except for Ministers of Peoples Armed forces, members are chosen by the SPA. North Korea has a Judicial and a Legislative branch, also all Political Parties are communist. There is one main Political Party, KWP, or Korean Workers Party, all smaller parties are usually owned by KWP. So all in all North Korea is a very communist ran society.
